Jaipur:
Cold and fog conditions continued unabated in desert state of Rajasthan with as many as 16 trains running behind schedule.
While 16 trains were delayed, two were cancelled and as many trains partially cancelled, a Northern Railway spokesperson said.
Churu in the plains remained the coldest place recording a minimum temperature of 0.6 degree Celsius followed by Sriganganagar and Dabok at 3.1 and 3.2 degree Celsius respectively, according to Weather Department officials.
Dense fog occurred in Ganganagar and nearby region. The sole hill station in the state, Mount Abu shivered at 0.5 degree Celsius.
Jaipur recorded a minimum temperature of 3.4 degree Celsius while Pilani's low settled at 4.4 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature in Sikar, Kota and Ajmer was recorded minimum at 4.5, 6.2 and 6.4 degree Celsius respectively.
Bikaner, Jaisalmer and Barmer recorded minimum temperature of 7.8, 8.4 and 9.4 degree Celsius respectively.
