Cold Wave Sweeps Rajasthan, Mercury Nears Freezing Point In Mount Abu, Churu

Jaipur: As cold wave conditions continued to sweep parts of Rajasthan, Mount Abu and Churu recorded the lowest temperatures at one and 1.5 Degree Celsius respectively, last night, a MeT department official said.

Besides, fog and mist affected normal life in Bikaner, Churu, and Sriganganagar districts till 10 am, the official added.

Meanwhile, Sikar recorded a minimum temperature of 2.8 Degrees Celsius followed by Pilani at 3.5, Sriganganagar at 4.8, Udaipur at 5.4, Jaipur at 6.5, Jaisalmer at 7.2, and both Barmer and Jodhpur at 10 Degrees Celsius each.

No major change in the cold wave conditions are expected in the next 24 hours in the state, according to weather officials.
