New Delhi:
There was commotion in the Lok Sabha on Thursday, the first anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee accused the Opposition of politicising 26/11, after BJP leader L K Advani said the government's relief efforts were not enough.
"The Home Minister has failed to coordinate relief after the attacks," Advani said, adding, "The Government is yet to compensate all the attack victims."
The commotion started with Mukherjee getting upset over Advani's speech.
The Speaker tried to calm the House down, saying, "Let us not raise issues in such a manner on this tragic day."
Earlier, the MPs observed a 2-minute silence joining the rest of India in remembering the victims of 26/11.
