- Meeting with United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon
- Will speak at the United Nations General Assembly
- Bilateral meetings with the President of Sri Lanka, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh and the Prime Minister of Nepal
- Meeting with former Mayor of New York Michael Bloomberg
- Meeting with New York Governor Andrew M Cuomo
- Meeting with select group of 10 distinguished Indians (leading Persons of Indian Origin and Non Resident Indians)
- Attends the 27th Global Citizens festival at Central Park
September 28: - Madison Square Garden event in New York
- Meeting with the American Jewish Community in New York
- Meeting with Governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley in New York
- Indian Ambassador to host a dinner for the PM, prominent Indian Americans will be present.
