Congress Leader Ghulam Nabi Azad Holds Press Conference: Highlights

Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad is holding a press conference.

• We will select an appropriate CM candidate when the UP campaign starts.
• Whoever is in Congress has a role to play and same for Priyanka Gandhi.
• Raj Babbar will be the UP Congress chief. He is born in UP. He was the Lok Sabha member from UP for three times. He is in the Rajya Sabha now.
• Campaign committee and coordination committee to be decided in the coming days.
• My views on Kashmir and militancy are personnel.
• BJP can't shy away from its role in Jammu and Kashmir.
• I have said it before in the presence of the PM that the BJP needs to practice caution while dealing with Kashmir. It should not push the RSS agenda in the Valley.
• Use of excessive force in Kashmir is terrible.
• Jammu and Kashmir is a very sensitive region.
• Pakistan is fishing in troubled waters. We condemn it.
