Highlights of what Abhishek Manu Singhvi said:
- BJP used every possible trick to not let Lokpal Bill pass
- Congress showed intent on the floor of House to pass the Bill
- BJP and Left moved 187 amendments as a coordinated effort. Some of them came as late as 6 pm. Clearly the object was not to let the Bill pass
- We condemn the obstructive conduct of BJP and its allies
- Objective was to keep pot boiling, not allow law to be passed
- Not possible to discuss all 187 amendments on the last day
- Here is a case where assassins are blaming the victims
