Congress rejects Arvind Kejriwal's fresh charges against Robert Vadra, DLF: Highlights
New Delhi: The Congress has rejected Arvind Kejriwal's fresh revelations against Robert Vadra and DLF as baseless. The party claims the charges are part of a bigger conspiracy.

Here are the highlights of what Congress spokesperson Rashid Alvi said:

  • Whatever he has said there is nothing new. He wants publicity, he does this for publicity.
  • The kind of documents produced - how do you know whether they are genuine or not. I don't believe they are true. If there are issues, the Haryana government will respond.
  • He has approached the Haryana government for a white paper - demands should not be made through the media.
  • I find these kind of allegations laughable - they accuse, produce evidence and pronounce sentence.Have you seen the High Court documents? When was this judgement passed?
  • If the law has been violated, the govt will do its job and act  but if these people stand up in front of the media, that is not the correct way.
  • Whatever the Finance Minister had said, he would have said with responsibility. Those making accusations in front of the media should take the legal route and approach the courts.
  • I condemn making such allegations without any basis. I think this is part of the bigger conspiracy.
  • We have always been against corruption. We have acted on any evidence that has been produced.
  • We know nothing of the documents, how can we act on them? If they knock on the doors of the law, it will take its own course.
