Jaipur: Opposition Congress will raise the issue of alleged derogatory remarks against party vice president Rahul Gandhi by BJP MLAs Kailash Choudhary and Gyan Dev Ahuja during the Rajasthan Assembly budget session beginning today.
"BJP MLAs made derogatory remarks against Rahul Gandhi. The is intolerable. The opposition will raise the issue and demand action against them," Leader of Opposition Rameshwar Dudi told reporters yesterday.
He said that the government's decision to disinvest equity in some power plants will also be opposed.
"The meeting of the Congress Legislature Party will take place tomorrow at 9.30 AM before the beginning of the budget session in which we will finalise our strategy," he said.
Mr Dudi said that issues of public interest including closing of schools, privatisation of health centers and others, will be raised prominently during the session.
