Congress workers expelled for morphing Rahul picture

Congress workers expelled for morphing Rahul picture
Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Congress has expelled eight party workers from Agra for allegedly morphing a picture of national general secretary Rahul Gandhi, party officials said here on Wednesday.

The party workers have been expelled from the Congress for one year after they themselves admitted to morph the senior leader's picture and apologised for the same, they said.

The party workers from Agra morphed the picture of Gandhi to show that they met the national general secretary in New Delhi.

Taking a serious note of the incident, the party had ordered a probe into the incident and issued show cause notices to all the eight workers.

The party had yesterday expelled UPCC secretary Ram Lotan Nishad for his alleged remarks against national president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul.
