Lucknow:
The 15-year-old daughter of a policeman in Uttar Pradesh has killed herself after boys her age blackmailed her with an MMS.
The girl, who was studying in Class 10, drank poison after the five boys in her neighbourhood once again threatened to post online the allegedly obscene MMS.
The girl's father is a Sub-Inspector in the Etawah district, about 230 kms from the state capital of Lucknow.
Police sources say that she had warned her family about the harassment. It's not clear why they did not file a police complaint against the boys.
A case has been registered now, but so far, no arrests have been made.
The girl who died belonged to Jaswant Nagar, the constituency of Shivpal Yadav, a state minister and brother of Mulayam Snigh Yadav, who heads the ruling Samajwadi Party.
