India logged 13,596 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the lowest daily rise in the last eight months or 230 days, the Health Ministry's data showed. 166 people have died of Covid in the last 24 hours.

Uttarakhand has given the first shot of Covid vaccine to all adults, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said on Sunday. A total of 74 lakh people or 100 per cent of the eligible population across the state have been administered with the first dose of the vaccine.
