Coronavirus Cases in India: The recovery rate is 97.42 per cent.

India's daily COVID-19 numbers were marginally higher than yesterday as the country reported 42,766 new cases today. 308 deaths were recorded during the period, according to the Health Ministry.

Kerala on Saturday recorded 29,682 new coronavirus cases, taking the number of COVID-19 cases in the state to 41,81,137. The number of deaths increased to 21,422 with 142 new deaths.
Maharashtra contributed 4,130 cases and 64 deaths to India's daily numbers. There are now 52,025 active coronavirus cases in Maharashtra and the state's case recovery rate stands at 97.02 per cent while the fatality rate is 2.12 per cent.
Delhi reported zero Covid deaths for the fourth straight day on Saturday, according to data shared by the city health department. The cumulative death count in the city stands at 25,082, it said. The city also reported 55 fresh Covid cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total cases in the city to 14,37,929.
Active cases stands at 1.24% of total cases, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate stands 97.42 per cent, the Union Health Ministry said. The daily positivity rate now stands at 2.45 per cent.
The cumulative COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country crossed the 68 crore mark. More than 71.61 lakh vaccine doses were administered till 7 pm on Saturday. India has been running the largest vaccination drive against COVID-19 since January 16 this year.
Coronavirus infection among children continued to rise in Odisha even as the total number of new cases dropped to 681 on Saturday, a Health Department official said.
Among the new patients, diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, there were 118 children.
