New Delhi: India recorded its lowest daily Covid cases in 250 days on Tuesday with the country reporting 10,423 cases, which was also 16 per cent lower than the previous day. The country, however, witnessed 443 virus-related deaths during the period.
At least 15,021 people have recovered in 24 hours. The total number of people who have recovered is 3,36,83,581.
Active cases account for less than one per cent of total cases, currently at 0.45 per cent.
The active caseload stands at 1,53,776, which is the lowest in 250 days. The weekly positivity rate of 1.16 per cent is less than two per cent for last 39 days.
Daily positivity rate of 1.03 per cent is less than two per cent for the last 29 days.

Mizoram Reports 830 Covid Cases In 24 Hours
Mizoram on Tuesday reported 830 Covid cases, the highest single-day spike in nearly two weeks, taking the northeast state's tally to 1,22,354, a health department official said, reported news agency PTI. The state had reported 165 COVID-19 cases on Monday. The death count rose to 435 as two more patients died, he said.

Coronavirus News: Brazil Registers Lowest Number Of Covid Deaths Since April 2020
Brazil registered on October 31 the lowest daily average of deaths from COVID-19 practically since the disease was detected in the country in February 2020, the Brazilian scientific institution Oswaldo Cruz Foundation said, reported news agency ANI.
According to the official "Monitora COVID-19" platform, Brazil registered 311.43 deaths in the moving average of the last seven days of October. It is the lowest figure since April 28, 2020, when the death toll reached an average of 325.14.
