India saw a single day rise of 4,417 new coronavirus infections, the lowest in last three months, taking the tally of COVID-19 cases to 4,44,66,862, according to the Union health ministry data updated on Tuesday.

Active Covid cases have further declined to 52,336, while the death toll has climbed to 5,28,030 with 23 fatalities, including one death reconciled by Kerala, the data updated at 8 am showed.

India had reported 3,714 new cases in a span of 24 hours on June 6.

Active Covid Cases In India Decline To 55,114

With 6,809 new coronavirus infections being reported in a day, India's total tally of COVID-19 cases rose to 4,44,56,535, while the active cases declined to 55,114, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Sunday.

The death toll climbed to 5,27,991 with 26 fatalities which includes five deaths reconciled by Kerala, the data updated at 8 am stated.

The active cases comprise 0.12 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has increased to 98.69 per cent, the ministry said.

Covid Update:Odisha Records 187 New Covid Cases, 1 Death
Odisha's COVID-19 numbers rose to 13,27,844 on Thursday as 187 more people, including 28 children, tested positive for the infection, a health department bulletin said.
Casualties rose to 9,177 with another fatality, while 53 other patients have died due to comorbidities so far, it said.

Odisha had recorded 275 new infections and a casualty on Wednesday.

The state now has 1,800 active COVID-19 cases, while 340 more people recuperated in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 13,16,814

Covid Update: Puducherry Registers 26 New COVID-19 Cases

Puducherry recorded 26 new COVID-19 cases, taking the overall numbers to 1,72,901, a senior official of the Department of Health said here on Thursday.
Director of Health G Sriramulu in a release said the 26 cases surfaced after examination of 233 samples in the last 24 hours ending 10 AM, today.

While Puducherry region alone accounted for 15 out of the 26 cases, the remaining 11 cases were reported from Karaikal region.

Mahe and Yanam regions which are enclaves of Puducherry in Kerala and Andhra Pradesh respectively, reported zero cases during the last 24 hours, the Director said.

With 7,946 new coronavirus infections being reported, India's total tally of COVID-19 cases rose to 4,44,36,339, while the active cases declined to 62,748, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Thursday.
The death toll climbed to 5,27,911 with 37 fatalities which includes 12 deaths reconciled by Kerala, the data updated at 8 am stated.

The active cases comprise 0.14 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate increased to 98.67 per cent, the ministry said.

A decline of 1,919 cases has been recorded in the active COVID-19 caseload in a span of 24 hours.

Delhi Records 377 New COVID-19 Cases, 2 Deaths
Delhi on Wednesday recorded two more Covid-related deaths and 377 fresh cases with a positivity rate of 2.58 per cent, according to data shared by the city health department in New Delhi.
