New Delhi: India has recorded 6,594 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the COVID-19 tally to 4,32,36,695.
India's active COVID-19 caseload currently stands at 50,548, the Health Ministry said.
With 4,035 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the total recoveries have reached 4,26,61,370.
The daily positivity rate stands at 2.05 per cent while the weekly positivity rate at 2.32 per cent. The national recovery rate was 98.67 per cent. The cumulative Covid vaccine doses administered across India has exceeded 195.35 crore.

Tamil Nadu Reports 332 New Covid cases
Tamil Nadu reported 332 new Covid cases today, taking the overall case tally to 34,57,969.
The total death count remained unchanged at 38,025 as 0 Covid-related deaths were reported.
As many 153 people recovered in last 24 hours, taking the overall recoveries to 34,18,312, leaving 1,632 active infections.

Gujarat Reports 165 New Covid Cases, 0 Deaths
Gujarat today reported 165 new Covid cases, taking the total number of infections to 12,26,528, the state health department said.
The number of Covid deaths remained unchanged at 10,945 in the state after 0 Covid-related deaths were reported.
A total of 77 people recovered from the disease taking the total number of recoveries to 12,14,663. Gujarat now has 920 active cases.
Ahmedabad district reported the highest number of 92 cases today, Vadodara 22, Surat 12 and Gandhinagar 10 among other districts.
The Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu continues to remain free of Covid as no fresh case was reported today as well.

Sikkim Reports 3 New Covid cases
Sikkim's Covid case count rose to 39,184 today as 3 more people tested positive for the infection, a health bulletin said. The 3 cases were recorded in East Sikkim.
Sikkim now has 13 active cases, while 37,969 people have recovered from the disease, 453 patients have died due to Covid and 749 have migrated to other states.

Maharashtra Reports 2,956 New Covid cases, 4 Deaths
Maharashtra today recorded 2,956 new cases of Covid, 4 new Covid-related deaths were recorded, while the active tally crossed the 18,000-mark, the health department said.
The state's Covid tally reached 79,15,418, while the death count increased to 1,47,875.
The bulletin said 2,165 patients recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours.

Delhi Reports 1,118 New Covid Cases, 2 Deaths
Delhi reported 1,118 new Covid cases today, an 82 per cent jump from yesterday's 614 cases.
The national capital also reported 2 Covid deaths while the positivity rate stood at 6.50 per cent. The total number of deaths reported in Delhi now stand at 26,223.

Andhra Pradesh Now Has 126 Active Covid Cases
Andhra Pradesh now has 126 active cases of Covid. On April 29, when the state government issued the last Covid bulletin, the state had 20 active cases of the infection.
Over the past few days, the state has been registering 10 fresh cases of coronavirus disease on an average.

One New COVID-19 Case In Andamans In Last 24 Hours
Andaman and Nicobar Islands reported a new coronavirus case, which pushed the tally to 10,057, a health department official said today.
The fresh patient has a travel history, he said.
The death count in the Union Territory remained at 129 as no new fatality due to the infection was reported in the last 24 hours.
One person recuperated from the disease during the period, taking the total number of recoveries in the archipelago to 9,923, the official said.
The Union Territory now has five active cases.
Altogether 3,40,431 people have been inoculated with both doses of COVID-19 vaccines. At least 23,556 beneficiaries in the age group of 15-18 years have been immunised and 26,206 senior citizens have so far got the precautionary jab.
At least 13,117 children in the age group of 12-14 years have been vaccinated, the official said.
The Andaman and Nicobar administration has conducted over 7.45 lakh sample tests for COVID-19 so far, and the cumulative positivity rate stands at 1.35 per cent, he added.

Maharashtra's Thane Records Over 400 New COVID-19 Cases In 24 Hours
Maharashtra's Thane district has reported 429 new COVID-19 cases, taking its infection tally to 7,14,698, an official said today.
These new cases were recorded on Monday, he said.
The death count in the district remained unchanged at 11,895 and the COVID-19 mortality rate stood at 1.67 per cent, he added.
