New Delhi: With 4,510 new coronavirus infections being reported in a day, India's total tally of COVID-19 cases rose to 4,45,47,599, while the active cases declined to 46,216, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Wednesday.
The death count climbed to 5,28,403 with 33 fatalities, which includes 19 deaths reconciled by Kerala, the data updated at 8 am stated.
The active cases comprise 0.10 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate increased to 98.71 per cent, the ministry said.

Gujarat Reports 144 New COVID-19 Cases, Active Cases At 1,096
Gujarat reported 144 fresh COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, raising its overall infection tally to 12,73,787, the state health department said.
As 159 patients got discharged during the day, the number of recovered cases rose to 12,61,663, it said.
The total death count remained unchanged at 11,028 as no death was reported due to the infection on Wednesday, the department said in its release.
There are 1,096 active cases in Gujarat and the condition of six patients is critical.

Mumbai Reports 112 New COVID-19 Cases
Mumbai on Wednesday reported 112 new COVID-19 cases and zero fatality, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.
With this, its infection tally rose to 11,49,347, while the total death count stood at 19,726, the civic body said in its bulletin.
On Tuesday, the city witnessed 120 new COVID-19 cases and a single death.
The new cases were detected after 7,643 tests in the last 24 hours, which took the cumulative test count to 1,82,47,418. On Tuesday, 5,188 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the city.

Delhi Reports 123 New COVID-19 Cases
Delhi on Wednesday recorded 123 fresh COVID-19 cases with a positivity rate of 1.14 per cent, according to data shared by the health department.
The new cases were detected from 10,768 tests conducted the previous day, the department said in its latest bulletin, adding that no Covid-related fatality was recorded.
Officials said the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) will meet on Thursday to review the Covid situation here and also conduct an assessment of dedicated resources deployed at hospitals to tackle the infection.
With the new cases, Delhi's COVID-19 tally climbed to 20,02,695, while the total death count remained unchanged at 26,500, it said.
