Covid Update: Odisha Registers 730 New COVID-19 Cases, 2 Casualties
Odisha's COVID-19 numbers rose to 13,18,875 on Sunday as 730 more people, including 130 children, tested positive for the infection, while two casualties pushed the total to 9,148, a health bulletin said.
The state had logged 836 infections on Saturday.
The state now has 5,851 active COVID-19 cases, of which 1,395 are in Sundargarh.

Covid Update: Rajasthan Reports 600 New Cases Of COVID-19, 1 Casualty
Rajasthan reported 600 new cases of COVID-19 and one death in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative number of infections in the state to 12,97,262 and casualties to 9,590, an official said on Sunday.
Presently, 3,438 patients are undergoing treatment in the state.

Covid Update: Maharashtra Registers 1,812 New COVID-19 Cases, 1 Casualty
Maharashtra on Sunday reported 1,812 new COVID-19 cases and one death, taking the total number of cases to 80,59,732 and the number of casualties to 1,48,139, the state health department said.
A day earlier, the state had reported 1,931 COVID-19 cases and nine casualties. The department also said 16 patients of BA.2.75 and three patients of BA. 4 and 5 sub-variants have been found in the state. All these cases are from Pune.
"Detailed epidemiological investigation of these cases is underway," the health department report said.

23 New Cases In Ladakh
Ladakh recorded 23 fresh Covid cases that took the infection tally to 28,983, officials said on Sunday.
Ladakh has so far recorded 228 Covid-related fatalities since its outbreak, of which Leh accounts for the highest 168 deaths followed by 60 in Kargil, they said.
A total of 3,294 people, including 2,430 air travellers, were screened for COVID-19 in the twin districts on Saturday, and 23 of them - 21 in Leh and two in Kargil - tested positive, officials said.

Arunachal's COVID-19 Positivity Rate At 12%
Arunachal Pradesh reported 32 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, taking the tally to 66,196, a senior health official said.
The toll remained at 296 with no new deaths recorded, State Surveillance Officer (SSO) Lobsang Jampa said.

180 New COVID-19 Cases In Thane; Active Tally At 925
As many as 180 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Maharashtra's Thane district, taking its infection tally to 7,35,124, a health official said on Sunday.
With the addition of the latest cases on Saturday, the district currently has 925 active COVID-19 cases, he said.
The toll in Thane remained unchanged at 11,931, he added.

8 New Covid Cases In Andamans
The union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands reported eight new COVID-19 cases, eight less than the previous day, pushing the tally to 10,488, a health department official said on Sunday.
The archipelago now has 40 active COVID-19 cases.
Nine more persons recovered from COVID-19 on Saturday, taking the total number of recoveries to 10,319, he said.

Assam Reports 320 New COVID-19 Cases
Assam reported 320 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday at a positivity rate of 5.49 per cent, the National Health Mission (NHM) said.
Kamrup Metropolitan district, which primarily comprises Guwahati city, reported 28 of these cases. Cachar and Dhemaji also reported 28 new COVID-19 patients each, followed by 25 in Dibrugarh and 21 in Sivasagar, the bulletin said.
At present, the state has 4,426 active cases.
