India reported 501 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, while the active cases have declined from 7,918 to 7,561, the health ministry said on Wednesday.
With new coronavirus cases, the country's total tally of COVID-19 cases rose to 4,46,66,676.
India also reported 2 Covid-related deaths, bringing the total number of fatalities to 5,30,535.
