COVID-19 Highlights: At least 13 new Covid-related deaths reported in India on Wednesday.
India reported 2,139 new coronavirus infections on Wednesday, taking the total tally of Covid cases to 4,46,18,533, according to the Union Health Ministry.
A decline of 1,082 cases has been recorded in the active Covid caseload in a span of 24 hours.
As active cases dipped to 26,292, the number of fatalities rose to 5,28,835 with 13 Covid-related deaths, including four deaths reconciled by Kerala, the ministry data stated.

Gujarat Reports 111 New COVID-19 Cases, Active Count 762
Gujarat on Wednesday reported 111 fresh coronavirus positive cases, taking the infection tally to 12,75,785, the state health department said.
As 81 patients recuperated during the day, the number of recoveries rose to 12,63,986.
The total death count remained unchanged at 11,037 as nobody died due to the infection on Wednesday, it said in a release.
There are 762 active cases in Gujarat and one of these patients is in a critical condition.
District-wise, Ahmedabad reported the highest number of 33 new cases, followed by Surat at 22, Vadodara 15, and Mehsana and Rajkot eight cases each, among others, the department said.
Mumbai Reports 194 New COVID-19 Cases, 1 Death
Mumbai on Wednesday reported 194 new coronavirus cases, a jump from 129 a day ago, taking the overall tally to 11,51,776, while the death of one more patient due to the infection pushed up the death count to 19,737, the city civic body said.
The metropolis has reported more than 100 coronavirus cases for the sixth day in a row. On Tuesday, Mumbai had logged 129 COVID-19 cases, but zero death.
As per a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) bulletin, the new COVID-19 cases were detected after 5,496 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, taking their cumulative count to 1,83,71,177.
A day ago, 4,146 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the financial capital.
Thane Logs 49 New Covid Cases; Active Tally At 362Maharashtra's Thane district has reported 49 new COVID-19 cases, a health official said on Wednesday.With the addition of the latest cases, the district currently has 362 active Covid cases, he said. No Covid-related fatalities were reported and the total number of such deaths stood at 11,962, he said.
