Mumbai Logs 96 New COVID-19 Cases, Active Tally At 1,123
Mumbai on Monday recorded 96 new cases of coronavirus that raised the tally of infections to 11,52,576, an official from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.

The toll remained unchanged at 19,738, while the count of recoveries reached 11,31,715 after 111 people recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours, he said.

Madhya Pradesh Sees 7 New COVID-19 Cases
The COVID-19 tally in Madhya Pradesh reached 10,54,572 on Monday after the detection of seven cases at a positivity rate of 0.1 per cent, a health official said. The death toll remained unchanged at 10,775, while the recovery count increased by 10 to touch 10,43,688, leaving the state with 109 active cases, he said.

Delhi Logs 61 New Covid Cases, Positivity Rate Rises To 3.61 %
Delhi on Monday recorded 61 fresh Covid cases with an increased positivity rate of 3.61 per cent, according to data shared by the city health department here.

No new fatality due to the viral disease was reported.

With these new cases, the national capital's Covid case tally has climbed to 20,04,963 while the death toll stands at 26,506, the department said in its latest bulletin.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will review on Tuesday the coronavirus situation in the country and the ongoing vaccination drive to decide on the future course of actions, official sources said.

Chhattisgarh Records 55 COVID-19 Cases, No Deaths
Chhattisgarh on Monday reported 55 COVID-19 cases at a positivity rate of 1.52 per cent, taking the tally to 11,77,167, while the death toll remain unchanged at 14,139, an official said.

The recovery count rose by 74 during the day and stood at 11,62,624, leaving the state with 404 active cases, he said.

Maharashtra Records 201 Coronavirus Cases
Maharashtra on Monday recorded 201 new coronavirus cases, but no fresh death linked to the infection was registered in the state, where 219 more patients recovered, the health department said.

With this, the state's COVID-19 tally rose to 81,27,900, while the death toll remained unchanged at 1,48,372, said the department in a bulletin.

Odisha Reports 49 New Covid Cases, 1 Death
Odisha's COVID-19 tally rose to 13,35,503 today as 49 more people, including four children, tested positive for the virus, a health department bulletin said. The death count rose to 9,202 with one more death reported in the last 24 hours, while 53 other coronavirus patients have died due to comorbidities so far, the bulletin said. Odisha now has 570 active COVID-19 cases.

India Reports 2,060 New Cases In 24 Hours
India reported 2,060 new coronavirus cases today. Besides, 10 more deaths pushed the death count to 5,28,905, the Health Ministry said on Monday. The active cases increased to 26,834, showed the data updated by the ministry at 8 am. The 10 new deaths included four reconciled by Kerala, the data stated.

COVID-19 India Update: Thane Reports 64 New Covid Cases
Maharashtra's Thane district reported 64 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, raising its infection count to 7,45,995, a health official said. The active cases tally in the district, which is part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, has gone up to 507 as compared to 488 the previous day, he said. No death was reported in the district on Sunday and the death count remained unchanged at 11,962, he said. The recovery count stood at 7,34,190, the official said.
