New Delhi:
After lighting up over 55 villages in India through TERI's Lighting a Billion Lives initiative,
NDTV Greenathon is back with its second edition to provide solar lanterns to villages that would otherwise be without electricity for a decade or more.
It's the first of its kind green initiative for the environment. India's first ever 24-hour live event, The Greenathon, will be telecast across all NDTV channels from March 6-7 to raise awareness about the environment and find ways to create a cleaner, greener tomorrow. The event starts at 7 pm today.
NDTV's Vikram Chandra, Cyrus Brocha and our Green ambassador for this year, Priyanka Chopra, will host the show, which promises a whole lot star performances, including a 100-km run by Milind Soman.
