The District and Sessions Judge of Koderma on Friday deferred the bail petition of Sudha Pathak, mother of Delhi-based journalist Nirupama Pathak, who was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her Tilaya home in Koderma district till June 9 next.
The District and Session Judge M N Singh directed the police to put up the case diary, forensic report and the post-mortem report before the Court on June 9 so that the court after proper observation of the documents will take a decision of the bail petition of Sudha Pathak.
Sudha, mother of Nirupama, was arrested on May 3 under sections 302 (murder), 201 (causing disappearance of evidence) and 120 b (criminal conspiracy) based on circumstantial evidences after post-mortem on the 22-year-old journalist.
