Hyderabad:
The police custody of Satyam ex-chief Ramalinga Raju ends on Thursday. Besides Raju's bail plea, three other petitions will also come up in Nampally court in Hyderabad.
CID extension for police custody, SEBI petition to be able to question Raju and Raju's petition for special status inside prison will also be taken up by the court.
The Andhra Pradesh CID on Wednesday sought extension of custody of Satyam Computer's founder B Ramalinga Raju, his brother B Rama Raju and the firm's ex-CFO V Srinivas by four days.
The petition to this effect was filed in the court of 6th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate and would come up for hearing on Thursday.
The court had granted police custody of the three, accused of engineering a Rs 7,800 crore scam in Satyam, from January 18 to January 22.
The extension of custody of the trio is necessary as the interrogation needed more time, Prasad said.
Reacting to the petition filed by the Andhra Pradesh CID seeking extension of the custody of the three accused, Raju's lawyer Bharat Kumar said he would be filing a counter-petition.
