Mumbai:
The Customs department has been put on high alert after an input by the IB that liquid explosive could be smuggled into the Mumbai airport.
This is an input sent to the airport specifically after the 13/7 blasts.
Agencies fear that the liquid explosive could be smuggled into the airport or brought in from abroad and then carried into an airline.
There is also a fear that cargo planes might be targeted to create panic.
All airlines and cargo operators are also on high alert
The Mumbai International Airport had earlier received an alert from the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security that terrorists could use liquid explosive (possibly in a small bottle)
CISF is also on high alert after an input from the Home Ministry.
