Kolkata: The South Eastern Railway today cancelled the Howrah-Puri Weekly Express, and rescheduled or diverted some other train services following the cyclonic storm Phailin which threw train traffic out of gear since Saturday.
The 12887 Howrah-Puri Weekly Express scheduled to leave Howrah on Sunday has been cancelled. The 18615 Howrah-Hatia Express has been rescheduled to leave Howrah at 0545 hours tpmorrow.
The 06008 Santragachi-Chennai Puja Special has been rescheduled to leave Santragachi at 1610 hours on Tuesday instead of 1900 hours today.
The 22605 Purulia-Villupuram Express has been rescheduled to leave Purulia at 1935 hours on Tuesday instead of 1035 hours today.
The 12246 Yesvantpur-Howrah Duronto Express and 22852 Mangalore-Santragachi Vivek Express may be diverted to run via Jaruli-Tatanagar-Kharagpur due to water logging on the tracks between Balasore and Haldipada.
