Dara Singh 'fake encounter' case: Top cop on the run?
Jaipur: A top police officer in Rajasthan allegedly involved in the Dara Singh fake encounter case has reportedly gone missing.

The CBI is looking for Additional DG (Home Guards) AK Jain, who is yet to present himself before the investigating agency for questioning. He is said to be missing since 72 hours.

The CBI has written to the DG Harish Meena to look for AK Jain and Additional SP Arshad Ali, who are alleged to be part of the conspiracy to kill Dara Singh.

A criminal from Churu district and part of the liquor mafia, Dara Singh was killed in a police encounter in October 2006 in Jaipur.

Later, his family alleged that the encounter was staged. On their plea, the Supreme Court handed over the case to the CBI in April 2010.

The CBI has already arrested four police officials in connection with the case so far.
