The Delhi exit polls results are trickling in. Six exit polls, so far, have predicted a BJP win, giving it anywhere between 35-60 seats, while for the ruling AAP the projections look rather grim, with the seat projection ranging between 32-37.

Health Warning: Exit polls are not always accurate.

Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP, contesting all seats, is aiming for a hat-trick of solo wins. The party has been in power in Delhi since 2013, it was supported by the Congress back then. The BJP, contesting on 68 seats, has been out of power in Delhi for last 28 years. The Congress, which ruled the city for 15 straight years, has failed to win any seat in the last two elections.  

Delhi has 1,561,400 registered voters, including 837,617 males, 723,656 females, and 1,267 third-gender voters. The electorate also includes 239,905 first-time voters aged 18-19, 109,368 elderly voters aged 85 and above, and 79,885 persons with disabilities.

The Matrize polls has predicted seats anywhere between 39-45 for the BJP, while it gave the ruling AAP anywhere between 32-37 seats. The halfway mark in the 70-member assembly is 36. P Marq predicted 39-49 seats for the BJP, while it gave only 21-31 seats to the AAP. People's Insight precited 40-44 seats for the BJP and 25-29 for the AAP. All three pollsters have predicted only 0-2 seats for the Congress, which has not won any seat in the last two elections.
