- Devendra Fadnavis: An empowered committee was formed to look into the issue of setting up a memorial for Bal Thackeray.
- Devendra Fadnavis: We decided to set up a memorial for Balasaheb Thackeray at the Mayor's Bunglow in Dadar's Shivaji Park.
- Devendra Fadnavis: A public trust will be created to look after the memorial.
- Devendra Fadnavis: The trust will be headed by Uddhav ji.
- Devendra Fadnavis: It will be prepared on the lines of a public trust just like the memorial built for Maharashtra's first Chief Minister YB Chavan.
