• Rahul, Sonia Gandhi and PM working together for 2014 elections.
• In 2008-09, Manmohan Singh was portrayed as PM but its not a personality that wins elections, the campaign, the party does
• People will like to see Rahul Gandhi as PM, but the issue is which party and how fast can it eradicate poverty, bring development and infrastructure

• Gujarat is not at the top in any of the indicators
• It is where it was when Modi came to power
• The country believes in the ideology is the Congress
• Congress believes that power should be used to empower the people

On contesting Lok Sabha elections:

• I would love to contest in the Lok Sabha election if given a chance. I will be ready to contest.
• I won't like to impose myself in Madhya Pradesh. It has a lot of bright, young leaders

On possibility of early election:

• Why should we go for early elections?
• We will go to polls when the term of the Parliament expires
• We have proven our majority in the Lok Sabha time and again

On Congress' chances in Uttar Pradesh:

• We have a good chance to win in Uttar Pradesh in 2014
• I will not ally with any political party in UP as far as strategy goes

On Priyanka Gandhi:

• As far as I know, Priyanka Gandhi will stay away from politics
