Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court Justice P D Dinakaran seems to be getting into more trouble. His elevation to the Supreme Court has now been put on hold after allegations of land grabbing.
The Forum for Judicial Accountability has now submitted a memorandum to the Chief Justice of India seeking a CBI probe against him for allegedly misusing his position and amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
This is the fourth such representation in the matter which says that till the inquiry is pending Justice Dinakaran should not be allowed to exercise judicial functions. The Forum has submitted all relevant documents in support of their allegations.
On his part the Judge says that he will talk when it is time. "Silence is my only weapon today," he said.
