Washington: India will get direct access to 26/11 conspirator David Headley soon, that's what America's Attorney General Eric Holder has told India's Solicitor General Gopal Subramanium at a meeting they had in Washington.
A statement released by the Indian Embassy in the United States says:
"Gopal Subramanium along with the Ambassador of India to the United States, Meera Shankar met with the Attorney General of the United States, Eric Holder and other Department of Justice representatives, followed by detailed discussions. The two partners agreed to take suitable steps to bring about direct access by Indian authorities to David Headley as soon as possible.
The partnership between India and the United States recognizes the high priority to be accorded to each country's national security. Both countries recognized the need for the investigations to reach a fruitful and successful outcome."
