DMK issues whip over cut motion

New Delhi: Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), a crucial ally of the Congress, has issued a whip to its members to be present on Tuesday and support the government if a cut motion is adopted in Parliament.

M Karunanidhi-led DMK has 18 members in the Lok Sabha.

"We have issued a whip to all our members. They have been asked to be present in the House and support the government during the cut motion," party spokesman and MP T K S Elangovan said.
