Chennai: The Tamil Nadu police have arrested two DMK strongmen this morning on land grab charges. In Chennai, police have picked up the Chepauk MLA J Anbazhagan for forcing a paper mill owner in Tirupur to part with his property.
In Salem, former DMK Minister, Veerapandi Arumugam, was arrested following a fresh land grab complaint.
It was on Monday that Mr Arumugam had surrendered to police in two other similar cases, and was on bail.
