The district police swung into action after receiving a complaint from the girls, and arrested the doctor, who was later identified as Tariq Iqbal. The hospital administration, which was informed about the incident, has since suspended the doctor.
The girls, in their complaint, alleged that Iqbal, who was the doctor on duty, asked them to undress for a check-up even though there was no nurse present in the room.
