Dehradun:
Security in and around some schools, government buildings and other vital installations
was stepped up after the prestigious Doon School administration received a letter threatening to blow it up.
Dehradun Superintendent of Police (City) Jagatram Joshi on Friday said that the security around the vital installations has been stepped up in the wake of the threatening letter received by Doon School.
Meanwhile, police has also launched efforts to ascertain the identity of the sender and verify the contents of the letter.
Two days ago, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation headquarters here also received a similar letter. However, after investigations police found it fake.
