Undeterred by the two FIRs lodged against him for offering "jadu ki jhappi and pappi" (magical hug and kiss) to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, SP leader Sanjay Dutt on Monday said even if it angers BSP supremo, he will still give her a "jhappi".
"However much it may irk Behenji, I will give her Jadu ki jhappi. If she gets angry I will give her a flower... I will give puppy only to the public," he said during an election rally here.
Dutt along with SP national general secretary Amar Singh and Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari was campaigning for party nominee from Fatehpur parliamentary constituency Rakesh Sachan.
Two FIRs have been lodged against Dutt for offering "jhappi" to Mayawati. While one was lodged in Pratapgarh on April 18, another was lodged in Barabanki district.
Pratapgarh district magistrate Pinki Jowel had also issued a notice to Dutt in this regard. Dutt later apologized and said what he said was an expression of a brother to his sister.
Meanwhile SP general secretary Amar Singh alleged that there was a tacit understanding between the BJP and the BSP.
"Both the parties have a tacit understanding in this Lok Sabha election," he alleged.
