Earthquake in Andaman and Nicobar island near Port Blair
An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 was reported near Port Blair in Andaman and Nicobar islands on Thursday morning, according to India's National Center for Seismology.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 222 km south (S) of Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar islands, India, the agency said. The earthquake struck at 2:23 AM IST at a depth of 10 km from the surface.
