An earthquake of magnitude 4.1 was reported near Kargil in Ladakh on Thursday morning, according to India's National Center for Seismology.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 169 km NW of Kargil, Ladakh, India, the agency said. The earthquake struck at 4:20:06 AM IST at a depth of 5 km from the surface.
