An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 was reported near Baraut in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday morning, according to India's National Center for Seismology.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 65 km NNE of New Delhi, India, the agency said. The earthquake struck at 9:51:25 AM IST at a depth of 742 km from the surface.
