Srinagar:
A moderate intensity earthquake today shook the Kashmir Valley but there were no immediate reports of any casualty or damage.
"An earthquake of 5.2 magnitude was experienced at 9.46 AM in Kashmir Valley," Aamir Ali, coordinator of Natural Disaster Management Cell, said.
He said the epicentre of the tremor was in Hindukush region of Afghanistan.
This is the second tremor in the valley this month. On March 12, a moderate intensity quake was experienced in the state.
