Morena, Madhya Pradesh: Efforts continued on Monday to rescue a child who fell into a 100-feet deep borewell in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh.
If all goes well, the child is expected to be rescued soon, those involved in the operation said.
Army personnel, who began the rescue operation on Sunday afternoon, have been digging a hole parallel to the borewell to rescue Raghav. The child fell into the borewell on Sunday morning while accompanying his grandmother to the fields in the area.
Area legislator Satyapal Singh Sikarwar told the media that the rescue efforts continued throughout the night.
While the borewell is 100-feet deep, the child is stuck at a depth of around 50-60 feet. He is being supplied oxygen and watched through a keyhole camera lowered into the hole.
