Rohtak: Eight coaches of Mumbai-Ferozpur Punjab Mail derailed early this morning, injuring 25 people. The incident occurred at around 3.30 am near Rohtak.
Senior officers of Railways and police rushed to the spot and took the injured to the PGI hospital.
According to the IG Railways (Haryana), 300 metres of railway track has been damaged but no casualties or major injuries have been reported.
Railway authorities say an investigation has been launched to ascertain the reason behind the derailment, adding that the coaches are being examined.
He also said that one person has been seriously injured, while others have sustained bruises.
