At least 25 people were injured when a temporary structure near Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium collapsed today.
The structure had been put up for a wedding near gate number 2 of the JLN stadium, officials said.
Police said the injured have been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Safdurjung Hospital for the treatment.
No casualties have been reported in the incident so far.
"It was found that 25-30 labourers were trapped under the fallen structure. The pandal was erected for a wedding function. 25-30 people rescued and shifted to AIIMS Trauma Centre and Safdarjung Hospital," said Ankit Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Delhi.
Rescue operations - which has been called off now - were carried on by the Delhi Police and fire department officials.
