New Delhi: After all alliance partners unanimously passed a resolution endorsing Narendra Modi, the leader of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance, the Prime Minister said the NDA government will provide good governance and thanked people for giving him the opportunity to serve them again.
The newly elected MPs of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) arrived at at the Central Hall of the old Parliament Building today morning for a meeting on cabinet formation ahead of the swearing in ceremony.
This comes after the NDA crossed the majority mark bagging 293 seats in the Lok Sabha polls. However, the BJP managed to secure only 240 seats, much lower than its 2019 tally.
The parties of the NDA unanimously passed a resolution electing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as their leader, senior BJP leader Pralhad Joshi said at the NDA parliamentary party meeting.
In all, 21 NDA leaders signed the resolution, which appreciated PM Modi's efforts in nation-building, welfare of the poor, and development, adding that they were all partners in that effort.
