Srinagar:
Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today said that the Congress should elevate its vice president Rahul Gandhi to the party's top post instead of "planting stories" about his "imminent elevation".
"Isn't Congress fed up of planting 'Rahul's imminent elevation' stories?" Mr Omar, who was an ally of the Congress in UPA-II, wrote on Twitter.
"Been reading them for years now. Just do it and let him get on," he said.
