The Ministry of Environment and Forests today told the Bombay High Court, hearing the Lavasa case, that the Google images of the alleged environment damage to the area due to the project have shaken it.
The Ministry accepted the delay on its part in issuing notice to Lavasa.
The high court will look into the issues of displacements, rehabilitation plans and effects of the project on water supply to Pune.
The court will also look into the allegation that the government has favoured Lavasa.
