New Delhi:
In the season of revelations, Mumbai-based right to information activist, former Indian Police Service officer and lawyer YP Singh today made some about union agricultural minister Sharad Pawar, accusing him of helping in illegally acquiring land for Lavasa, advertised as India's "first planned township". He also took on Arvind Kejriwal, who has been making accusations and allegations against top political figures across parties, comparing him to Hitler.
Here are all the reactions:
YP Singh, former senior cop and RTI activistHow did Sharad Pawar hold a meeting with Maharashtra officials in the Lavasa guest house? He was Union Agriculture Minister; what jurisdiction did he have?
You cannot do politics like this. They (Arvind Kejriwal) don't see the larger problems. In Germany, Hitler had said the country was collapsing and had come to power... see what happened there.
Agriculture Minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar
Everything was done according to policy... The chief minister made me responsible for project since it was in my district. What's wrong with that?
DP Tripathi, Spokesperson and General Secretary, NCPThese allegations are baseless... And I don't even want to comment on this. We have given answer to all the documents... Then please speak with him.
Manish Sisodia, Activist, India Against CorruptionThere are many types allegations of corruption on Sharad Pawar. We congratulate YP Singh Ji as he exposed him in points. We had already raised this issue during our movement on July 15... As you remember that we had issued the names of 15 corrupt ministers in which we had also included Sharad Pawar's name.
I don't know why he (YP Singh) has said like this. He (YP Singh) is a very good friend of ours... I think this issue should be confined to Sharad Pawar scam instead of taking it as Arvind Kejriwal versus YP Singh war.
Rashid Alvi, Spokesperson, CongressToday also I would say that he (Arvind Kejriwal) has links with BJP... Let us collect information then we will talk to you.
