Official residence of the President of India, the Rashtrapati Bhavan is located in the heart of Delhi. The sprawling 320 acre estate has massive presidential gardens, and the 340-room building which serves as the President's residence, halls and offices.

Marble Stairways Leading To Durbar Hall
Two huge staircases made completely out of marble lead the way to the Durbar Hall.

The Durbar Hall is designed on a large circular plane under the dome. At the back, one can see the statue of Gautama Buddha.
On August 15, 1947, leaders of the country had gathered at the Durbar Hall to witness the swearing-in ceremony of the new government, headed by Jawaharlal Nehru.
Inside View Of Long Drawing Room
The Long Drawing Room is a conference room where the President used to host the annual conferences of Governors and Lieutenant Governors.
Inside View Of Ashoka Hall
The Ashoka Hall was originally the Ball Room of the Viceroys. It is now used for ceremonial functions and presentations.
