Andhra Pradesh Assembly Election Exit Poll Results 2024 Highlights: Exit Polls Predict Jagan Reddy's Win

The official results for the Andhra Pradesh assembly election will be declared on June 4, along with the 2024 Lok Sabha poll results.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is expected to retain power, exit polls showed

Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy-led YSRCP is likely to sweep the 2024 Andhra Pradesh assembly elections, most of the exit polls showed on Saturday.

The Centre for Politics and Policy Studies projected 95-105 seats for the YSRCP in the 175-member Andhra Pradesh assembly and gave 75-85 seats to the TDP-BJP-JanaSena alliance.

Aaraa Poll Strategies Private Limited predicted that the ruling party will retain power by bagging 94-104 seats. It said that the opposition alliance may win 71-81 assembly seats. Atma Sakshi SAS also projected a win for Mr Reddy's party, giving it 98-116 seats.

Some exit polls also projected victory for the TDP-BJP-JanaSena alliance. 

According to People's Pulse, the former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP is expected to win 95-110 assembly seats, while its allies JanaSena may get 14-20 and the BJP 2-5 seats.

Simultaneous elections to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha were held on May 13. The results for the Andhra Pradesh assembly election will be declared on June 4, along with the 2024 Lok Sabha poll results.

Exit Poll Results 2024: YSRCP May Retain Power In Andhra Pradesh
Aaraa Poll Strategies Private Limited has predicted that Jagan Mohan Reddy-led YSRCP will retain power by bagging 94-104 seats in the 175-member Andhra Pradesh Assembly. 

It gave 71-81 seats to the BJP-TDP-JanaSena alliance.

Atma Sakshi SAS has also projected a win for Mr Reddy-led party, which gave it 98-116 seats and 59-77 seats to the NDA.

Smart Poll has projected a close race between the YSRCP and NDA. It gave 93 seats for the NDA and 80 seats for YSRCP.

Exit Poll Results: PM Modi Confident Of Victory
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today thanked the voters after the seventh and last phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 and exuded confidence that the ruling NDA will retain power. 

"India has voted! A heartfelt thank you to all those who exercised their franchise. Their active participation is the cornerstone of our democracy. Their commitment and dedication ensures that the democratic spirit thrives in our nation," he said on X.

"I would also like to specially appreciate India's Nari Shakti and Yuva Shakti. Their strong presence at the polls is a very encouraging sign," he added.

"I can say with confidence that the people of India have voted in record numbers to reelect the NDA government," he said in a series of tweets.
