External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today hosted an Eid Milan which was attended by heads of missions of several Islamic countries including Pakistan.
Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar and senior diplomats of the Ministry of External Affairs were present on the occasion. Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit was among those seen talking to Ms Swaraj.
India and Pakistan a had row last week over ceasefire violations along the Line of Control and International Border in which both sides had suffered casualties. Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had sent a box of mangoes to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi a few days back.
